Terms of Service

LikeWave provides free, browser-based tools for viewing and analyzing publicly available Instagram content: profile analytics, a likes viewer, a story downloader, a comment viewer and a video downloader. The Service only works with content that is already public on Instagram. We do not require your Instagram login, we never ask for your Instagram password, and we do not interact with Instagram on your behalf.

LikeWave is an independent project. We are not affiliated with, endorsed by or sponsored by Instagram or Meta Platforms, Inc. All trademarks belong to their respective owners.

You agree to use the Service only for lawful purposes. You must not:

• use the Service to harass, stalk, defame or harm any person;
• download, republish or otherwise use third-party content in a way that infringes copyright, privacy, publicity or other rights of the content owner;
• use automated scripts, bots or scrapers against the Service, or attempt to overload, probe or disrupt our infrastructure;
• attempt to access non-public areas of the Service or other users’ data;
• resell or commercially redistribute the Service without our written consent.

You are solely responsible for how you use any content obtained through the Service. Downloading content does not transfer any rights in that content to you. Always obtain permission from the content owner before reusing their material.

All LikeWave tools are provided free of charge. We do not sell subscriptions, we do not charge hidden fees and we do not require registration to use the public tools. We may introduce optional paid features in the future; if we do, they will be clearly marked and governed by additional terms.

The Service — including its design, text, graphics, logo and software — is owned by us or our licensors and is protected by applicable intellectual-property laws. Instagram content displayed through the tools belongs to its respective owners; we do not claim any rights in it and we do not store copies of it beyond short-lived technical caching.

The Service is provided “as is” and “as available”. Analytics values (such as engagement rate) are estimates calculated from publicly visible data and may differ from Instagram’s internal metrics. We do not warrant that the Service will be uninterrupted, error-free or that data will always be available — public data depends on Instagram’s platform, which we do not control.

To the maximum extent permitted by law, we shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special or consequential damages, or for any loss of profits, data or goodwill, arising out of or related to your use of the Service. Our total aggregate liability for any claim shall not exceed 100 EUR. Nothing in these Terms excludes liability that cannot be excluded under applicable law.

We may modify, suspend or discontinue any part of the Service at any time. We may update these Terms from time to time; the “Last updated” date above reflects the latest revision. Continued use of the Service after changes take effect constitutes acceptance of the updated Terms.

These Terms are governed by the laws of the Republic of Estonia. Any disputes shall be resolved by the competent courts of Tallinn, Estonia, unless mandatory consumer protection rules of your country of residence provide otherwise.
